The Colon Historical Museum opened it's doors on July 4th, 1976 to promote all aspects of Colon and surrounding communities. Two large buildings house the collection of artifacts and documents that highlight magic, Indian and military heritage plus so much more.
It is a fascinating step back into Colon's history and remembrances of a time gone by. The museum is open throughout the summer and it's president, Joe Ganger, can make sure your visit to the museum is a memorable one -
Our Colon Museum also offers an insight into the history of the village. The museum is open from June 1st to Labor Day from 2:00 – 4:30 on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday afternoons and by appointment. Call 269-432-3804 (Joe Ganger).
